POLYSIL Series

The POLYSIL Series is a range of water based thermally curing coatings specifically suited for coating of ceramics and glass bottles for the perfume and liquor industries.  POLYSIL can also be used on many metal substrates and provides the following benefits:

  • Available as clear, transparent coloured, opaque and metallic versions

POLYSIL SCW800 Series

The POLYSIL SCW800 Series are a range of products which are single component, water based thermally cured coatings. Due to its outstanding levelling properties POLYSIL SCW800 gives a high brightness and sharpness when used as a clear coating in the sublimation processes.

  • Good Base for Sublimation

POLYSIL SCW810 Series

The POLYSIL SCW810 Series are a range of single component water based thermally curing coatings specifically suited for coating of ceramics and glass bottles for the perfume and liquor industries and ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

POLYSIL SCW810 gives excellent flow out and has improved abrasion resistance when compared to the POLYSIL SCW800 product range.

POLYSIL SCW810 is suitable for glass to glass transportation

  • Can be applied over cold end coated glass
  • Excellent Substrate Wetting
  • Excellent adhesion to metals, ceramics and glass
  • Scratch and Scuff Resistant
  • Resistant to Perfume and Alcohol
  • Excellent Adhesion over Cold End Coating

POLYSIL SCW820 Series

The POLYSIL SCW820 Series is a two component version of POLYSIL SCW810.

  • Very long pot life

POLYSIL SCW830 Series

POLYSIL SCW830 has increase chemical resistance when compared to POLYSIL SCW810.

POLYSIL SCW850 Series

POLYSIL SCW850 gives excellent flow out and has improved abrasion resistance when compared to the POLYSIL SCW800 product range.  It has been developed to give faster curing.

POLYSIL SCW850 is suitable for glass to glass transportation

Faster curing than the POLYSIL SCW810 Series

POLYSIL SCW860 Series

The POLYSIL SCW860 Series has been developed to have a very low VOC with all of the other properties of POLYSIL SCW810.

POLYSIL SCW860 is suitable for glass to glass transportation.

  • Water Based, Very low VOC, typically <75g/L
  • Scratch and Scuff Resistant
  • Free of any SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern)

POLYSIL SCW900 Series

The POLYSIL SCW900 Series are a range of single component water based stoving coatings specifically suited for coating of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and ceramics and glass bottles for the perfume and liquor industries.

POLYSIL SCW900 is based on an acrylic resin and as a result gives excellent gloss, adhesion, flexibility, film toughness and cure rate. Exterior durability is also excellent.

  • Fast Physical Drying
  • Excellent exterior durability.

POLYSIL SCW920 Series

The POLYSIL SCW920 Series are a range of two component water based stoving coatings specifically suited for coating of ceramics and glass bottles for the perfume and liquor industries and ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

POLYSIL SCW930 Series

The POLYSIL SCW930 Series are a range of fast curing, single component water based coating with a low temperature stoving temperature.

The POLYSIL SCW930 Series have excellent gloss, adhesion, flexibility, film toughness and cure rate. Exterior durability is also excellent.

  • Fast Physical Drying
  • Excellent exterior durability
  • Fast Curing at 150°C

POLYSIL SCW940 Series

The POLYSIL SCW940 Series are a range of single component water based thermally curing.  Some of the products in the range are also used for UV barrier coatings to protect container contents from UV degradation.

  • Fast Curing
  • Individual Formulations can be UV Blocking to protect bottle contents
